Out of Pocket

For some people, defining themselves is easy.

“I’m an artist.”

“I’m an entrepreneur.”

“I’m a cat person.”

“I’m a leprechaun.”

For some of us, it’s not so easy. And it’s not because we’re a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. It’s not even because we’re all terribly interesting people. The truth is­­ we’re dynamic. We’re a living, breathing, evolving species. It’s why fashions change. It’s why fads come and go.

So how can anyone really define themselves, once and for all?

You can’t. We won’t. We refuse! If we wanted to be boring, we’d make one product, and it would be gray. But that’s not who we are. And that’s definitely not what our blog will be.

We’re working to make this somewhere you want to come. We want to make you laugh, we want to make you think (but not too hard). We want to inspire you, the way you’ve inspired us.

Over the years, we’ve been honored to be a part of your wardrobe, a part of your day. We’ve been your lucky charm, your favorite accessory, the sugar coating on your totally fetch ensemble. But it gets lonely sometimes, being crammed in your pocket or stuck in your purse. It’s dark in there. So this is our grand escape. This is our evolution. This is our chance to become a part of the discussion.

We’ll be covering a lot of stuff here. And most of it will be extremely important. But some of it will be funny. Some of it will be interesting. And we hope all of it will be worth your time. 

It’s only June, and we’ve got a whole summer ahead of us. Let’s spend it together. Let’s do it right. Let’s always be friends.
