Hocus Pocus in LA

All Hallows' Eve is deathly upon us, and to get you into the spirit we got some spooky Halloween events in Los Angeles lined up for you! Don't worry we got some screams for everyone.

For the scream queens:

Halloween Horror Nights: The apocalypse is real and it starts at Universal Studios Hollywood. Halloween Horror Nights offer fright-filled mazes inspired by TV shows like The Walking Dead and films including From Dusk Till Dawn. Step into the horror (literally) and survive mazes filled with your worst nightmares. If you're a thrill seeker, this is the event for YOU! Are you brave enough?

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride:  The famed Griffith Park attraction takes thrill-seekers on a ride through the Old Zoo, where they’ll face the underworld and portrayals of the Seven Deadly Sins. This year features new mazes, interactive theater, a 40-foot-long Leviathan and returning favorites such as the Scary-Go-Round, House of Mirrors and more. Def. a one stop shop for Halloween fun!

 For the theatrical ghouls:

The Unauthorized Musical Parody of SCREAM! at the Rockwell: Rockwell begins a new series, The Unauthorized Musical Parodies, with a spoof of the 1996 cult horror classic, SCREAM. NEED WE SAY MORE!?  From the screen to the stage this small production sounds like amazing amounts of laughs and spook-tacular fun. With special guest appearances by Modern Family's Sarah Hyland as Sidney, SCREAM arrives at the Rockwell just in time to terrify and delight Los Angeles for the Halloween season. Get your tix NOW!

For the party monsters:

Cinespia's Haunted Bash at the Ace Hotel (Oct 31): Party in the famous haunted 1920s movie palace under a soaring gold ceiling and spooky towering lobby, and on the hotel’s gorgeous Broadway skyline rooftop. The evening begins with a brand new, fully restored print of John Carpenter’s original HALLOWEEN, the ultimate horror movie projected on the big screen!  Next, AVEY TARE’S SLASHER FLICKS perform live on stage, the latest (and scariest) musical incarnation from Animal Collective’s resident psychopath. At the witching hour the dance party begins with the legendary J. ROCC of the Beat Junkies. And thats NOT ALL, visit the HAUNTED HALL upstairs, a Halloween maze designed by Cinespia. So let's recap: horror movie, band, DJ's and a haunted maze....probably the ultimate Halloween bash in LA! TIX WILL SELL OUT!

Bowlloween (Oct 31): For one night only, every Lucky Strike Lanes will transform into Bowlloween.  A night filled with bowling, dancing and special witches brew to keep you on your feet. So choose your costume wisely for a night of games and more. This is also a ticketed event so purchase early!

LACMA Costume Ball "The Living Museum" (Oct 31):  The 11th-annual LACMA Halloween party is in full swing with it's newly announced theme "The Living Museum". Party monsters are encouraged to attend dressed as a work of art, wander the galleries after-hours, and dance the night away. Cap off your night with an after-party in the galleries. Also did we mention, there are prizes for best costume!
