It is that time of year again! Apple has just recently launched a new model of the iPhone 6, aptly call the “6S”. So what does this mean? The difference is more internal than external, so all your favorite iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus cases from Zero Gravity will remain the same.
Externally the new iPhone comes in rose gold which is a chic deviation from the classic gold and silver. To prevent “Bendgate” II they have enforced the exterior shell with a stronger aluminum-zinc alloy and gone ahead and changed the glass to the “most durable yet”. The biggest change is the addition of 3D Touch, a new pressure-sensitive interface that senses the difference between your taps, normal presses, and firm presses. It’s basically the iPhone’s version of a right-click. Add in a new higher resolution camera, their new feature Live Photos to animate your coolest still images and you end up with an amazing upgrade to the iPhones that we have all come to love and depend on (maybe a little too much).
All changes aside, one thing is still the same: the entry-level version of the new S is 16GB. Defiantly something to think about, given that they shoot at a much higher resolution, have 4K Video and the new tricks they do with the Live Photo feature. Storage is always essential and it may be better to steer toward the 64GB and 128GB version.
Gotta have one? No problem! You can preorder beginning this Saturday the 12 and Apple says they”ll ship by September 25.
